Located to the north of the Himalayan barrier in Tibet, Mt, Kailash is the most sacred mountain in the world which receives thousands of visitors each year who belong to different religious communities. Having said that, it has the shape of a pear with the widest part being 26 km long. Upon reaching the lake one can see that the lake water is crystal clean and radiance blue under the brightness of the sunlight. As Lake Mansarovar is considered to be a divine place together with Mt. Kailash, Lake Mansarovar allures thousands of people who come there to pray and meditate. Some even take a dip in its holy pure water and later say prayers to cleanse their soul. For religious believers, it is considered that bathing in Lake Mansarovar and drinking its water shall cleanse one’s soul and spirit of all their wrong doings.
